Child of the South

My sister Caroline is a singer, songwriter, and musician.  She has more than enough songs to make an album, but she says it costs thousands of dollars to record one professionally.  Whenever she does, we've got an album cover picked out.

The mountain instrument she's playing here is called an Appalachian dulcimer, which is now my favorite instrument, by virtue of its name and pretty shape.  And because it sings like a whimsical guitar.  The band name and the background story?  Child of the South.

(P.S.  That is my child intruding in all of the pictures, but it was what the artist requested!  And yes, he is a child of the South.)
